As a resident at St Peter’s Court, you are fully supported and encouraged to maintain your own independence. Staff are at hand to provide guidance and will encourage and support you to live the life that you wish. We create a “This is Me” document for you, which features your needs and support requirements, your life history, preferred activities and your likes and dislikes. This provides us with great insight and guidance in managing your future with us at St Peters Court. As a St Peter’s Court resident, you are a unique individual and treated as such, along with your unique choices, with your care being personalised in accordance with your proficiencies.
You have a choice of delicious daily meals from our Chef’s varied menu. Mealtimes are great opportunity to socialise with others or your relatives and loved ones in our spacious dining room, however, if you would prefer, your meal can be served to you in your room. Your relatives and loved ones can visit you at any time of the day or night to spend quality time together, whether it is watching a film in our themed Cinema Lounge, or enjoying a quiet cup of tea in our Light and airy tea room. Make your own life choices and live life how you want to!
During your familiarisation period, we are discovering and understanding your preferences, needs and desires. Using this information, we build up a clear picture of how we can best support your requirements, or those of your loved one. This information is detailed in your unique care plan, which are reviewed regularly so we can make any necessary changes in your provision of care, if, or when necessary.
Prior to admission we will prepare a comprehensive care plan to ensure that we can fully support you, working in partnership with your family, friends, or those who know you well to ensure our collated information is relevant and current.
